Having served the American aggregate and mining industry for over four decades, ROHR-IDRECO is today the sole owner of the original “ROHR” brand and related clamshell dredge designs, which now paired with the IDRECO suction dredge range, have come together under one roof as ROHR-IDRECO.
The company’s product line ranges from Suction dredges to Clamshell and Bucket Ladder dredges, a complete pump and booster line, and a wide variety of accessory equipment, serving primarily the aggregates industry.
ROHR-IDRECO Managing Director Fulco Vrooland, based in the Netherlands, states that they have established ROHR-IDRECO Americas LLC, in Houston TX, to be headed by Richard Crowe.
Crowe has been involved in the aggregate industry for over 20 years. He was Texas Operations Manager for one of the world’s largest aggregate producers with quarries, dredge sites, dragline sites, and rail terminals before starting a consulting business in the mining space. He was introduced to the ROHR-IDRECO brand as the first US customer of Jet Suction Dredge technology in 2012 and has worked closely with ROHR-IDRECO since.
ROHR-IDRECO Americas, LLC will have a shop located 40 minutes north of Houston, Texas, where they not only will supply spare parts and upgrades for existing ROHR and IDRECO dredges, but perform various stages of construction and design for new builds, as the projects require.
